Oct. 25 : Canaan Culinary University - Soups & Stocks and Mediterranean Cuisine
Executive Chef Nemat Odeh will conduct this class on creating classic soups & stocks, as well as Mediterranean Cuisine favorites. Class participants receive their own chef hat & apron, all recipes, dining on their creations, and instruction. Price $50 per person.
Soups & Stocks Portion:
Items highlighted in this portion of the class include a basic stock, various varieties of stock, the “mother sauces”, and thickening agents.
Mediterranean Cuisine Portion:
Various entrées include salads, dips, hummus, plus stuffed squash and stuffed grape leaves. Dessert includes cheese strudel and baklava.

Spend the weekend with friends (old and new) placing your photographic memories into scrapbooks created and designed by you. Christa Wildensen will lead this weekend retreat providing instruction and consulting tips along the way. A variety of vendors, classes, door prizes and contest included.
