Mid Summer Walk Between the Parks Enjoy a guided 8 mile guided hike between Blackwater Falls State Park and Canaan Valley Resort with our naturalist, Destiny Phillips. Bring snacks and water - lunch is not provided.

Douglas Falls/Blackwater Canyon Hike |

Join us for a 10 mile hike starting off at the abandoned coke ovens by Douglas Falls, then through the junction of North Fork Blackwater River and the main river, across from Lindy Point. We will hike down the canyon through mixed hardwood forest.
Spectacular views of the canyon and the river will be seen along this hike. Easy walking trail, but no way out once started. Please bring food, snacks, and plenty of water. We will start at Canaan Valley Resort, taking the shuttle to the ovens, the shuttle will leave at 9:00am.
